CCIS

The College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), a partnership of colleges and universities—two and four year, large and small, public and private, domestic and foreign—encompasses the broad spectrum of international higher education. CCIS members sponsor a variety of programs, notably study abroad programs and professional development seminars for faculty and administrators, which are designed to enhance international/intercultural perspectives within the academic community.

Program Overview

Experience a pleasing blend of old and new buildings in an attractive setting of lawns and gardens overlooking the mile-wide River Tay and the surrounding hills of Fife and Perthshire.  Dundee, the "City of Discovery", (pop. 165,000) lies on the estuary of the Tay on the east coast of Scotland, with the Highlands to the north and St. Andrews and Edinburgh to the south.  It has more students per head than any other city in the United Kingdom. This means that the services and businesses very much cater to students' needs and budgets. There are excellent cultural and social activities, as well as sporting and shopping facilities.  Dundee has the nicest climate of all of Scotland's cities, with more sunshine and lower rainfall.
