Program Description:
University of the South Pacific: UWP International Study Scholarship
**This scholarship is ONLY available to Non-Platteville students**
 
The University of the South Pacific: UWP International Study Scholarship of $1,000 is available to support a non-platteville student who is participating on the University of the South Pacific (USP) education abroad program. 

NOTE: Only one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded per semester.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligible students must:
  • have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25.
  • be a full-time degree-seeking student in the semester preceding and following the education abroad experience.
  • be participating on the USP education abroad program for at least one semester
  • agree to blog/vlog for the duration of their semester abroad (min. of 2 blog posts per week)
The University of the South Pacific: UWP International Study Scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis. The selection committee will strongly consider students who:
  • submit a well written and grammatically correct scholarship essay.
  • describe thoughtful and thorough ways on applying their education abroad experience to their home campus learning environment upon return.
  • propose creative ways to promote the value of education abroad and the USP education abroad program to other students upon completion of their program.
